Blue Moose >

Blue Moose Publications came to be when we (my kids and man) moved to BC, and I started the BC Wine Country annual magazine. The name Blue Moose originates from my interpretation of the anatomy of a moose -a gangly collection of body parts that work surprisingly well together as a unit. For many projects, I rely on the creativity of a gangly consortium of freelancers, whether it be poets or illustrators or cabinet makers.

I will add more strips featuring Blue Moose publications, but let's start with the second Kelowna Rock guidebook. Each guidebook took about three years of almost daily climbing/ route scrubbing and trail development for eight months at a time, with winters devoted to the more sedentary desk work. - Hanna
